Villa Lorizon – Private Villa with Pool and Great Seaview in Rodrigues

Villa Lorizon is a charming and uniquely styled 240 m² private villa for rent in Rodrigues, the neighbouring island of Mauritius.
Set in a peaceful natural environment, the villa enjoys beautiful views towards the ocean horizon and is located just 8 minutes from the stunning beaches of Graviers, Fumier and St. François.

The villa features a private swimming pool, air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi (200 mbps optic fibre), and a fireplace for cozy evenings. Thoughtful details include sun loungers, Siri for your own music, Nespresso machine, TV with all world channels , mosquito nets (also for the two baby cots), high chair, fans and a hammock under the coconut trees.

The name says it all: enjoy wide views over the horizon, as well as unforgettable sunrises and moonrises.
All the pink roofs visible in the photos belong exclusively to Villa Lorizon — including the main house and Anex, laundry and garden house — forming one single private estate.

Location

Villa Lorizon is located in Trois-Soleils, in the east of Rodrigues, approximately one hour by flight from Mauritius.
Its central position makes it easy to explore the island:

• 8 minutes by car to the beaches of Graviers, Fumier, and St. François
• Around 10 minutes to Mont Lubin, with its daily market and shops
• Small supermarket for essentials only 8 minutes away

The villa is also just 8 minutes from Mourouk, Rodrigues’ famous kite-surfing and diving spot.
Access is via a cemented road and is suitable for any standard car, scooter or motorbike .

Built in a typical island style with fresh colours and wooden furniture, Villa Lorizon is quiet, cosy and particularly appreciated by nature lovers.
The property extends over 3,000 m², planted with coconut, citrus and mango trees, ensuring calm and privacy.

Accommodation & Details

Villa Lorizon is ideally rented for 1 or 2 couples, with the possibility to accommodate up to 4 additional teenagers.

In addition to the garden barbecue, the fireplace can also be used for grilling.

Please note that the pool is not fenced. Children are welcome under the full responsibility of their parents.

Guests can enjoy three dining areas:
two outdoor tables (front and back terraces) and a large indoor dining table in the living room.

Services

A housekeeper and a gardener are at your service.
For guests who value maximum privacy, services can be reduced or adjusted upon request.

• Housekeeping (beds, laundry, ironing, and cleaning): up to 6× per week
• Gardener / caretaker: up to 6× per week
  (except Sundays and public holidays)

Meal preparation using your groceries is available for an extra fee.
Fresh fish, lobster, lagoon boat tours, and fishing trips can also be organised on request.

Food and beverages are not included.

On request, a masseuse comes directly to the villa.

For nature lovers, Mireille, a local specialist, offers beautiful and easy walks to discover Rodrigues, some starting directly at Lorizon.

Bedrooms

Bedroom 1 – Master Suite (Main House)

Large air-conditioned suite with:

Bedroom 2 – Mezzanine (Main House)

• Ideal for teenagers over 10 years old or easy going adults

Bedroom 3 – Anex (20 m from the main house)

Large air-conditioned room with:

• King-size bed (2.00 × 1.80 m)
• Mezzanine with an additional king-size bed for teenagers
• Bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC
• Kitchenette (microwave & Nespresso machine)
• Private terrace with seating and sun loungers

Although located in a separate building, Bedroom 3 is fully part of Villa Lorizon.
If only two guests stay in the main house, the guest house remains empty and is never rented separately.
Whether you are a couple, a family or a group of up to 8 guests, the entire property is always exclusively yours.

Additional Information

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, freezer, toaster, kettle, Nespresso machine, filter coffee machine, rice cooker and microwave.
The villa also offers two outdoor showers, Bluetooth speaker, World TV, MyT TV and Netflix.

For larger groups, two additional villas within walking distance can be added to your stay:
Zi Limon (6 guests) and Villa L’Esperance (6 guests), located 100 m and 300 m away.

Airport transfers and car rental (delivery at Plaine Corail Airport or at the villa) can be arranged.
For deep-sea fishing, we recommend contacting the Rod Fishing Club, well in advance.
Lagoon boat tours and island picnics can be organised locally.

Tip

If you have time before or after your flight, the François Leguat Giant Tortoise and Cave Reserve, only 15 minutes from the airport, is well worth a visit — including the possibility to adopt a tortoise.
