The property is 53 km from the airport and easily reached by the coastal road in 40 minutes.

5 other houses are in the vicinity of Villa La Prairie, which surplombs the others with a large private tropical garden surrounded by many bougainvillea’s, a volleyball field and a private pool. The extra highlights are the fire pit on the lawn and equally a fireplace on the terrace;

This Villa has a Wow effect when entering its large open lounge and open plan kitchen, going through to the vast overtures to the terrace. From there, the views on the sea and the Mountain of Le Morne are absolutely fantastic!

The large Tv is set on the wall in the Living room, at the same time there is an extra TV room, particularly loved by Teenagers and children.

A cosy corner with comfortable sofas surrounds the chimney on the covered terrace. Next to it, a long wooden table for 12, to enjoy Lunch and Dinners while watching the colours of the sunsets!

Parking facilities behind the villa;

We can accommodate 2 more guests in a shabby chick style wooden house next to the villa, with its own kitchenette and balcony.

Surroundings

Villa La Prairie is only 5 minutes’ walk through the property with direct access to the beach of La Prairie. In addition, this wild coast offers many beautiful beaches in both directions. You reach the village of Le Morne and a Kite surf school in 5 minutes by car for example, or more sport activities, such as the golf course of Le Morne Paradis in 8 minutes.

Nearby attractions are Horse riding on the beach, Deep sea fishing, Boats tour and the best, swimming with the dolphins. The boat will pick you up right on the beach 500 meters away;

Chamarel and the 7 earth, waterfalls, Rum factory and much more are in the area too.

The village of Le Morne offers a few small shops for basics and fresh fish sold on the roadside. Thus, you find all you need in the Supermarket at 8 km in La Gaulette.

Service

A housemaid comes 6 x/week and cooks Mauritian specialties if guests provide the ingredients. She will tell you what is needed for Mauritian Specialties.

Transport

The bus passes the property, but to really visit all the beautiful surrounding we suggest renting a car.
