La Casita

La Casita is a comfortable 90 m2 stand-alone House for 1 – 4 guests, cosy with flowered and fenced garden, plus a plunge pool and barbecue, but best of all stunning views of the lagoon.

Location

The House is situated in the South East of the island at Batatran, on the road to the beautiful beaches of Graviers for exemple. Furthermore, the school of kite surf and diving school of Le Mourouk are only 10 min. away by car.

Details

La Casita accommodates 4 people in 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with 2 en-suite bathrooms which are equipped with hair-dryers as well as hot showers, sink and toilet. Although it is a standalone house, it is an adjacent property to 2 other villas such as Villa Mon Calme and Villa Mon repos, and can therefore be rented as a supplement accommodation for larger groups.

The bedrooms of La Casita have single beds that are joined on request as double beds.

There are not only 2 living rooms but also 2 dining rooms (one inside and one on the terrace). Including TV and Satellite, an entirely equipped kitchen with Nespresso, Kettle, Microwave ect. In addition, a laundry with a washing machine.

Enjoy the beautiful views on the vast lagoon of many shades of blue from your lounge chair on the terrace or private balcony.

Likewise, after a day at the beach or one of the marvellous walks from the house in many directions, the plunge pool is a very welcoming pleasure to cool off and relax.

Services

A housemaid comes for cleaning, washing up and doing the beds 6 x /week. Moreover, she can cook for a small extra fee. A private parking is also available.

Surroundings

Beautiful Excursions are possible directly from the house via Graviers, Saint Francois or the famous baie of Trou d’Argent. For that reason, bring along a hat, a small backpack and walking shoes and not to forget, sun cream!

Nearby La Casita, at 2 minutes drive is a mini supermarket. Thus, you have more shops and snacks at 10 minutes in the little town of Mont Lubin together with its typical market where you usually get fresh fish, meat, vegetables and fruits. The town also includes a fuel station and an ATM.

Transport

We book your transfer from the airport, your car hire or scooter on demand. Generally, the car is delivered at the airport, opposite to the scooter which is delivered at the house. But each it can easily be organised differently without extra cost.

The housemaid or Ringo will give you information about excursion upon your arrival in Rodrigues. For exemple about boat trips including a picnic on one of the lagoon’s island upon your arrival in Rodrigues.
