Blue Bay is located on the south-east coast of Mauritius, just a 10-minute drive from Mahébourg. Besides its colourful daily market, Mahébourg is a typical Mauritian town with many shops, local restaurants, cafés, and street food.

Closer to the villa, a supermarket can be reached in just 5 minutes by car. Restaurants, a pharmacy, butcher, hairdresser, and other conveniences are also nearby.

Unlike many homes in Blue Bay that are built close together, Elegant Villa Blue Bay features a tropical garden and a private swimming pool with approximately 90% privacy, creating a peaceful setting to relax while still being only a short walk from the beach.

✈️ Aircraft at Blue Bay – What to Expect

Blue Bay is located close to Mauritius International Airport and is well known for aircraft departing over its beautiful lagoon. From the villa, you will only hear departing flights.

If you love plane spotting, you couldn’t choose a better location! Watching aircraft climb over the villa and the turquoise lagoon is truly spectacular and one of Blue Bay’s unique attractions. The sound is brief—typically only 20 to 30 seconds—and is followed by long periods of complete calm, as Mauritius has relatively few daily flights.
