Villa Easternwind

Villa Easternwind, 200 m² caters up to 6 guests and lies not only on a beautiful beach but the most beautiful lagoon of Mauritius! Pointe d’Esny, where the villa is located, is 15 minutes from the airport.

Villa Easternwind is a Holiday Family bungalow and second home of the owner. For this reason, it is proposed for rent only for some weeks of the year and at reasonable price. Grab the chance whenever it is given to rent this villa right on the white sandy beach!

Location

Pointe d’Esny is in the south east of the Island, 10 Minutes’ drive from Mahébourg; Besides its colorful daily market, Mahébourg is a typical Mauritian City with many shops, local restaurants and snacks. 

Nearer to the villa is a Supermarket, which can be reached by car in 5 minutes; Likewise, restaurants, pharmacy, butcher, coiffeur are at hand.

The Lagoon of Pointe d’Esny is well-known for its turquoise and immense lagoon, thus sheltered by the reef in a fare distance. Swimming in front of the villa is beautiful and the sand is white and fine.

Details

Villa Easternwind can accommodate up to 6 people + baby; There is a baby cot, baby bath, a highchair as well as a stroller.

On the ground floor are a lounge with and the dining room sea view; Both open onto a veranda with a second dining table and Long chair to relax; Alternatively, there is a terrace in the back courtyard with yet another Dining and Living space, along with a large barbecue area to enjoy meals in the shade. 

The kitchen is fully equipped, including among other, a Nespresso machine. In addition, on ground floor are a guest toilet, a laundry with a washing machine and an ironing board. 

Furthermore, there are 2 covered parking spaces.  

Whereas Food and Beverage, are not included during your stay, the first meal and basic groceries are offered for your arrival.

It should be noted, that although the airport is not fare away, there is not much air traffic above the area, therefore no disturbance.  However, if a plane makes a turn over the bay, it is a spectacle! 

Rooms

Villa Easternwind has 3 air-conditioned bedrooms including 3 en-suite bathrooms.

Bedroom 1

Is a cosy Suite on ground floor, stepping out on the sand, with 2 single beds put together, plus adjoining bathroom.

Bedroom 2

Is the main bedroom on the first floor with a 2 x 2-meter King bed, a balcony and magnificent view on the lagoon; likewise, adjoining bathroom 

Bedroom 3

bedroom 2 is on the first floor as well and overlooks the garden; with a double bed, adjoining bathroom and moreover a bathtub. 

Service 

A maid comes 3 hours / day except Sundays and public holidays; She prepares typical Mauritian dishes for lunch; (food and beverage are not included).

A fisherman comes by Villa Easternwind every day and you can purchase fresh fish, lobster, crabs and vegetable, depending on season.

Surroundings 

The Yacht club of pointe d’Esny is 500 meters away, the kite school 200 meters on the beach and the marine park of Blue bay is 2 km. Bring your snorkeling equipment along, it is an amazing spot. 

The Surrounding is quiet, there are some very good local restaurants nearby, about 1 km and a supermarket at 3.5 km; the market of Mahebourg is very typical and a must to visit!
