The Retreat is a private Duplex in a beautiful private complex only 50 meters from the sea in the north of Mauritius; The House is ideal for a couple or up to 4 people and offers the service of a cleaning lady who prepares lunch. In addition, a large overflow pool and tropical garden are the pleasure of young and old.

Details

The Retreat is a semi- detached house of 110 m2, which is part of the residential complex Kenville in BAIN-BOEUF. Ideally in the north of the island, The Retreat 9 is near Pereybere and Grand-Bay,  70 minutes from the airport. The buildings are situated in 8400 square meters of a carefully maintained garden to which the properties have direct access from their ground floor terrace. Along with the overflow, the swimming pool has a large space for children.

The house has Alarm and a safe and furthermore, the Complex has cameras and night surveillance.

While the back entrance of The Retreat gives to the parking and gate, the front terrace gives onto the garden and pool. The complex is only 50 meters from the sea across the coastal road. From there you can walk on white sandy beaches to PEREYBERE or further north to CAP MALHEUREUX. Also, there is a bus station in front of the complex which takes you in 8 minutes to GRAND-BAY and its shopping malls, water-sport facilities, banks, restaurants, casino and discotheques. Furthermore, you can buy fresh fish on the beach in front of Kenville and at 4.30 P.M when the fishing boats return to shore. Besides, there is a lively fish market in GRAND-BAY.

The Rooms

Ground Floor: – the kitchen is well equipped, and the living/dining room leads to the terrace and garden including your own barbecue area.

First Floor: – 1 bedroom facing the mountains with twin beds, A/C. 1 bedroom with 1 double bed facing the swimming pool, A/C, terrace. 1 bathroom with shower and W.C. Twin beds can be joined together as 1 double bed.

Service

The housekeeper works from Monday to Saturday 9.30 a.m to 13.30 p.m.  except on public Holidays. She attends to the cleaning of the house and to the guests laundry.  In addition, she can prepare lunch during her hours if you do the shopping. The housekeeper can prepare dinner as well and in advance for a supplement. Her services are included in the price. However, as a token of your appreciation a discretionary gratuity to the maid would be welcomed on departure.

Food and Beverage are not included.

Surrounding

You will find a diving-centre, as well as many water sports facilities such as windsurfing, water-skiing, deep-sea fishing and parasailing in Pereybere or GRAND-BAIE.

Tennis is also available in Grand-Bay, less than 15 minutes by car.

Furthermore, you can reach Port-Louis a Pamplemousse in no more than 25 minutes.

Transport

We can arrange your airport transfer and car hire with delivery at the airport or at the Retreat 9; You have free parking behind the house.
