Then come and discover our little corner of paradise … A peninsula on an island where you can play at Robinson Crusoe at leisure! ”Chez Nous” is a family villa that is located in Salines Pilot, a private property only 3 kms from the village of Black River, on the western part of the island; a region increasingly popular amongst Mauritians and tourists. Its originality, compared to the countless villas in the region: it is located on a private peninsula, and is therefore fully preserved. This is one of the few places on the island where peace is not a futile word. Children can play in the enclosed garden or on the beach which is only 50 meters away, with no roads to cross. The Meeting with the Dolphins is opposite, in the lagoon … The Mall, supermarket, shops, banks, and pharmacy are 3 kms away and 5 minutes by car and 5 kms from the Riverland sports center, where you can enjoy activities such as tennis, aerobics, etc … TheTamarina Golf Club, renowned internationally, is located a little further. Le Morne Beach is only 10 kms away and there you can practice windsurfing and ’Kite Surfing’ … Nearby you will also find a selection of Creole, Indian, Chinese, and European restaurants … Activities in the area But who said peace and quiet had to be boring! If you like kite surfing, the beautiful beach of Le Morne is only 20 minutes away by car, while the surfers can take full advantage of the waves at Tamarin. At Casela, nature lovers can walk with the lions or enjoy quad biking. Rivière Noire is a very dynamic city, shops abound, as do activities: golf, catamaran cruises, boat trips to see the dolphins, spas, fishing; you’ll be spoiled for choice! The restaurants are numerous and offer typical Mauritian, Indian, Italian, or European dishes in order to please, to say the least, an eclectic clientele! In the afternoon you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and let the magic of Salines operate, taking advantage of the unusual calmness far from the maddening crowd of the beaches which attract tourists … From the house, go for long walks or jog along the beach. To come toVilla “Chez Nous” is choosing an authentic holiday, with the illusion of being out of touch with the rest of the world, while keeping the option of immersing oneself back into the hustle and bustle of city life at any time. Its location makes the house an ideal base for exploring the whole island. Accommodation The villa can accommodate 8 people in a warm and relaxing environment. Upstairs, there is a comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom and private veranda. On the ground floor, 3 bedrooms with double beds, one with ensuite bathroom and an additional separate bathroom. Each room has air conditioning and a wall fan. The lounge and TV room are part of a room that opens onto a spacious veranda overlooking the pool and enclosed garden. Equipment: satellite, DVD, telephone and Wifi internet access. Two ceiling fans. Deck chairs protected by a large parasol beside the pool, where you can relax. It also features a charcoal grill. The kitchen is well equipped and easy-going and includes a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, toaster, kettle, fridge and a freezer. Domestic Services  from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.  the gardener, is at the house from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will be greeted by the owner on your day of arrival.
